Saturday, Cromwell road, ridiculous crowds around the Museums. Today is the turn of the Natural History Museum. Letting in only 20 people at a time, young man cruising the queue offering guide books in various language including Klingon but not Maori! Te Papa eat your heart out! Such a grand scale of things. Did not see everything, but were intrigued with the cocoon where there are scientists preserving seeds and monitoring the environment. Children could interact with real life scientists and the graphics and displays were amazing. Primrose Hill beckoned and after more expert tube dodging, we were climbing the green grass. You come up the hill, and as you get to the top, the grand vista of London unfolds beneath you. It was blustery and cold, so we did,t linger too long, but found a bus, walked a walk and found our way back to our London Home, armed with tikka masala ready made meal from Tesco and the red wine. Highlight of the day? Turning up at the tube station and listening to a full choir from an unknown Eastern block country, who looked like they were on their way to the concert, rehearsing. Absolute magic, goosebump making singing.
